plot: this chapter was just the introduction to the story the characters were being introduced and mainly the story of this chapter was that the grandfather of tomi (main character) does not like how they cant speak his language and how he cant hang the flag of japan and how tomi says he is more American than Japanese

other: a bond called fort minor made a song titled kenji which tells the story of a man who moved to los angeles from japan he to was issei and when the bombing of pearl harbor happened he was taken to the interment camp
